The Washington Commanders are moving onto the Divisional Round.
They arrived in Tampa Bay as three-point underdogs and left Florida with a three-point win.
That’s not easy to do with a rookie quarterback.
Then again, Jayden Daniels continues to prove that he’s no average rookie.
That’s why Tedy Bruschi went as far as to say he’s the greatest rookie quarterback ever.
Talking on ESPN’s “Get Up,” Bruschi raved about how calm and collected Daniels was in his postseason debut.
"The rookie rules don't apply, they don't apply to this guy. … This is the best rookie quarterback I've seen."

He praised him for disrupting the entire Buccaneers’ game plan to neutralize him.
He also believes he’s responsible for the team’s perennial success on fourth down, adding that they might be the greatest fourth-down team in NFL history.
Jayden Daniels is not like most rookies.
He entered the league with plenty of collegiate experience, becoming another example of why playing games and spending years in college is important before being thrown into the fire in the pros.
Also, it seems like he’s never bothered or fazed by the mental and physical pressure.
Daniels sustained a rib injury midway through the season, and some believe that has limited his mobility.
If that was the case, he didn’t show any of that in the win.
Of course, things won’t get easier for his team going forward, but the Commanders are officially playing with house money now.
And even if they don’t get the job done this season, having such a special player to build the team around for the next decade is encouraging.
