The Washington Commanders won four games in 2023.
They tripled that number in 2024 and are heading to the NFC Divisional Game.
Of course, Dan Quinn, Kliff Kingsbury, and some of the players they brought with them have plenty to do with that.
Nonetheless, it was also thanks to Jayden Daniels.
That’s why, following the big win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Robert Griffin III tipped his hat to the rookie.

He took to X to claim that he was what the team had deserved for years.
Hopefully, Daniels won’t have the same fate as Griffin, who was also a sensational rookie before injuries derailed his promising career.
Daniels started the season with a bang, and he was the obvious frontrunner to win Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Then, he sustained a rib injury that some believe has limited his mobility ever since.
Even so, the rookie out of LSU has clearly proven to be something special.
Once again, Daniels never looked overwhelmed by the situation.
Despite being on the road to make his playoff debut, he looked calm, collected, poised, and in control for most of the game.
Daniels closed out his postseason debut with 24 completions on 35 attempts, logging 268 passing yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions.
He also made some plays with his legs, rushing 13 times for 36 yards.
He kept making the right play at the right time, helping the team go 8-of-15 on third down and 3-of-5 on fourth down.
Things won’t get much easier going forward, but Daniels gives the fans hope for the future.
