In the aftermath of the Green Bay Packers’ Sunday Night Football loss, bringing their season record to 4-8, many analysts are calling for a quarterback change.
Stephen A. Smith is certainly one of those analysts.

Sitting Aaron Rodgers in favor of Jordan Love for the remainder of the 2022 NFL season would certainly send a message, both to the league and to Rodgers in particular.
Love was the team’s 2020 first-round draft pick, which was an utter shock to the sports world.
Although Rodgers responded to this with back-to-back league MVP awards, he hasn’t been playing up to par during the 2022 season.
What Can Love Do?
Since being drafted in 2020, Love has appeared in 10 total games for the Packers, with his only start coming against the Kansas City Chiefs in 2021.
He only started that game due to Rodgers being out with COVID-19.
He was 19/34 for 190 yards and threw one touchdown and one interception.
Although Love put up a mediocre stat line in that game, he looked a lot better in last night’s loss to the Eagles.
Only playing one-and-a-half quarters, Love was for 6/9 for 113 yards and a touchdown last night.
Stephen A. may be on to something.
After all, what do the Packers have to lose?
They either find out what they have in Love, and see if he is truly their future, or continue to lose games to further improve their draft position.
The Packers currently sit with the ninth overall pick in the 2023 draft.
Only time will tell what that pick will materialize into.
