Through the first two weeks of the 2023 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys defense has been one of the main stories.
In Week 1, the Cowboys managed to shut out the New York Giants in a 40-0 thrashing.
Dallas then followed that performance up by limiting the New York Jets to just 10 points in Week 2.
Led by an elite group headlined by Micah Parsons, the Cowboys have a unit capable of propelling them to a Super Bowl appearance.
However, the team suffered a major blow when Trevon Diggs tore his ACL, putting him out for the remainder of the season.
In the wake of the news, Bart Scott joked about the injury on ESPN’s “First Take,” which prompted a response from Diggs’ older brother and Buffalo Bills star receiver Stefon Diggs via his Twitter account.
Bart scott. Like what did you gain from that ? Other than looking like a 🤡

Scott poked fun at the misfortune that has come down on Dallas in previous years and his comments immediately were shot down by Ryan Clark and Stephen A. Smith.
The clip of Scott went viral on social media and numerous players and fans called him out for his insensitive joke.
Stefon and Trevon have a close relationship and it’s not surprising in the least bit that he would come to his younger brother’s defense in this situation.
Player injuries are never something to joke about and Scott’s comments are an example of poor judgment and behavior, especially from someone in the media.
Hopefully, Trevon is able to recover quickly and get back on the field sooner rather than later because he is a key part of the Cowboys.
