The Pittsburgh Steelers could be in the market for a new quarterback after the tag team of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields could not take this team to new heights.
Could a potential free agent like Aaron Rodgers be an option for the Steelers?
The answer is likely not.
According to Steelers insider Gerry Dulac, the Steelers would have “no interest” in getting Rodgers if he was to become available.

Although this is coming from a Steelers insider, no one ever really knows what is going to happen in the future.
The problem with Wilson and Fields is that they were never really able to elevate the play of the offensive players around them.
Is that something that Rodgers could do?
It is certainly possible.
Despite the poor record for the Jets this season, Rodgers had a solid season as he threw for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, 11 interceptions, and he posted a passer rating of 90.5.
By most accounts, he played like a top-10 quarterback for a lot of the season despite being 41 years of age and coming off a major lower-body injury.
He also helped young star wide receiver Garrett Wilson have his best season as a pro from a statistical point of view, along with helping his buddy Davante Adams eclipse 1,000 yards on the season despite Adams leaving the Raiders for the Jets with only 209 receiving yards at the time of his departure.
There is no doubt that he can elevate the players around him because he has been doing that his whole career.
Will the Steelers have an interest in Rodgers if they are in win-now mode?
Again, it is very possible.
