Most NBA stars are lucky to get just a few years as a league leader – but most NBA stars aren’t LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.
You can say what you want about James but you cannot deny that he’s a truly spectacular, once-in-a-generation talent.
Even if you hate him and the Lakers, you must admit that he’s one heck of a baller.
And the facts show that he has been for quite some time.

StatMuse has compiled the numbers behind James’ career and they show that he’s been an incredible force of nature since the very beginning.
During his opening years with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he put up an average of 28 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists with a 56% true shooting percentage.
After that, he put up 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in Miami with the Heat, followed by 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists in his return seasons with the Cavs.
Then during his time with the Lakers, James has kept it up with an average of 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.
In other words, James has been wildly consistent during every leg of his journey through the NBA.
He’s 37 years old and he’s still keeping it up but how long can this last?
LeBron In LA
James averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists last season with the Lakers.
Of course, that wasn’t enough to get LA into the playoffs or even the play-in tournament.
So even if James is putting up record numbers (he almost was last season’s scoring champion) he needs more help on the court.
Statistics are one thing and James is certainly proud of them but we all know what he really wants is another ring.
