Becoming the cover athlete for any of the Madden video games pretty much means you’ve made it as an NFL superstar.
That’s why Buffalo Bills fans should be ecstatic to know that the word around the league is that Josh Allen will get the nod for the cover of Madden NFL 24.
According to a report by Buffalo Fanatics, via Dov Kleiman, the franchise chose Allen to continue its long history of stars taking the cover.

There’s no denying that Allen has become one of the most prominent stars in the league, turning the Bills’ franchise around and making them perennial Super Bowl contenders.
Should this announcement be true, then he’d be the first player in franchise history to get this honor.
Needless to say, plenty of people will talk about the so-called Madden curse, as many of the former cover athletes later went on to have their careers cut short due to injuries or struggled to be at their best, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
Patrick Mahomes was the cover athlete four years ago, and he won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs that very same season.
He and Tom Brady made two appearances in the past six years, and they definitely did more than okay in the subsequent years.
Reports from the Bills’ camp have raved about Allen’s physical shape and mindset, citing that this is the most locked-in they’ve seen him in his young career.
Now, Bills fans will hope that translates into finally winning the Vince Lombardi trophy.
