The Miami Dolphins are on the verge of a historic offensive season as they’ve been the most electric team during the 2023 NFL season.
In his first year, Mike McDaniel managed to overhaul the offense and turn them into a scoring machine and he’s managed to somehow improve on that in his second year.
Tua Tagovailoa is playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now and he’s got plenty of weapons at his disposal to tear up defenses.
His number one option has been Tyreek Hill who’s in the midst of a career year where he could very well crack 2,000 receiving yards.
Hill has been a natural fit for McDaniel’s offensive scheme and he has been unguardable every week as he always seems to find himself open downfield.
With Hill playing at the level he is, players like Darius Slay acknowledged that he should be in consideration for this year’s MVP award via The Volume.
“He’s one of my MVP candidates that’s a non-quarterback,” Slay said.

Quarterbacks are generally the favorites to win MVP given how much of the offense they have control over, but Hill is a true game-changing player because of his speed and skill.
There were some doubts about Hill’s desire to leave the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, but he’s proven that he can thrive in any situation.
Slay is one of the premier cornerbacks in the league, so it’s high praise for him to come out and say Hill’s on his shortlist for MVP.
The Dolphins are definitely a Super Bowl contender and their hopes of winning it all heavily rely on Hill keeping this pace up.
