The San Antonio Spurs hit the jackpot after landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
The draft featured several talented prospects, such as Scoot Henderson and Brandon Miller.
However, the most hyped-up prospect in the draft class was none other than Victor Wembanyama, who was selected as the top pick in the draft.
Wembanyama is certainly enjoying his time with the Spurs, as apparent from an image posted by the team’s official Twitter handle.

The tweet had a caption regarding embracing the grind and Wembanyama was seen smiling.
Wemby was in the middle of a workout, and his smile showed his happiness for being part of the organization.
Wembanyama is yet to make his official debut for the team, but he did feature in the NBA Summer League.
The 19-year-old star averaged 18.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 4.0 blocks per game during the Summer League.
There’s still a lot of room for improvement for the French phenom as he’s gearing up for training camp.
The most obvious thing that Wembanyama needs to work on is his lanky frame.
He’s 7-foot-4, but weighs just 209 pounds.
Keeping the NBA’s rough playing style in mind, Wembanyama needs to put on some muscle to dominate in the league.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s transformation throughout his career is the perfect example of how a player can increase his strength in the league.
If Wembanyama takes it up as a blueprint, he may finally be able to slam his critics.
