Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, made headlines earlier this week when he officially committed to the University of Southern California.
James won’t be alone when he plays for USC next season, as another son of a famous and successful NBA player has also committed to being a Trojan.
According to Joe Tipton of On 3 Sports, the son of five-time NBA champion Dennis Rodman, D.J. Rodman, will join James in Los Angeles in 2023.

The USC Trojans were already expected to be must-see college basketball next season, with Bronny leading the way for the Trojans, but adding another potential star in Rodman will only make things that much more interesting in 2023.
Unlike Bronny James, who will be playing his first year of college basketball next season for USC, D.J. Rodman is transferring to the school after playing the last four seasons with Washington State.
It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out for the Trojans next season and whether these sons of NBA greats can make a case to be drafted to play on the next level.
Obviously, with the fathers of both these players being some of the greatest basketball players we’ve ever seen on the NBA level, the pressure will be on D.J. and Bronny to prove they can follow in the footsteps of their famous fathers.
There will undoubtedly be a lot of added attention on the USC basketball program in 2023, with everyone wanting to look at these two young players, who will hope to make the jump to the professional level after one year in Los Angeles.
