There is no doubt that Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns is having a phenomenal time in the postseason.
Partly because of the amazing things he is doing on the court, the Suns have a very good chance of progressing to the Western Conference Finals.
Booker is doing so well, in fact, that he is playing like perhaps the greatest basketball star of all time.
StatMuse compared Booker’s current playoff run, his third, with the third of Michael Jordan.
Booker is scoring 36.8 points to Jordan’s 35.7, and has 5.1 rebounds to Jordan’s 7.0.
Booker is matching him in steals per game and actually leads Jordan in assists per game as well.
In their 3rd career playoff run:
MJ — Booker —
35.7 PPG 36.8 PPG
7.0 RPG 5.1 RPG
6.0 APG 7.4 APG
2.0 SPG 2.0 SPG

These are powerful numbers for Booker, and they should convince just about anyone that he is a bonafide superstar.
He has been a very reliable and solid player for most of the regular season but his desire to win in the playoffs has turned him into a whole different animal in the postseason.
Will he be able to keep it up in the days and weeks ahead?
Fans of the Suns are demanding a lot from their team.
With Kevin Durant now on board, they are expecting Phoenix to at least make the Western Conference Finals.
Most people expected that Durant would be leading this team.
However, it is clear that Booker is the one in the driver’s seat, dictating plays with the offense running through him.
The Suns still have a way to go before they can meet their fans’ expectations.
They are currently in the midst of a tough battle with the Denver Nuggets.
But the stellar, superstar work of Booker is giving fans a reason to believe.
