The Miami Heat need to figure out how to counter the Denver Nuggets’ offensive juggernaut of a lineup, and that’ll be easier said than done with that roster they have right now.
Jimmy Butler is obviously their best offensive player — even when Tyler Herro is on the floor — but they need someone else to step up.
With that in mind, Skip Bayless believes that Bam Adebayo could be the offensive X-factor for Erik Spoelstra’s team.
Following the Heat’s loss, Bayless pointed out that Adebayo can take care of Nikola Jokic on the offensive end of the floor, although he did say that he needs to be way more efficient if the Heat want to stand a chance.
My takeaway: Bam can get an open 10-foot jumper in the lane on Joker ANY TIME HE WANTS. That's why he has taken 25 shots. But he's going to have make 20 of them instead of 13.

No disrespect whatsoever, but the Nuggets will gladly have Bam Adebayo take 25 jumpers a game every single night.
If he makes them, so be it, but he’s not going to make them that often.
Adebayo is a very good player at many things, but knocking down jumpers most definitely isn’t one of those things.
Likewise, they can try and let Joker get as many points as he wants while keeping the rest of his supporting cast in check, similar to what the Golden State Warriors did with LeBron James in the NBA Finals vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers.
However, the Nuggets just have way too many weapons, shooters, and size, and it seems like they’ll have a counter for whatever the Heat could throw at them with that limited and undersized roster they have.
