The Dallas Cowboys have been very active through the first several days of free agency.
Thus far, they have traded for Brandin Cooks, and Stephon Gilmore, and placed the franchise tag on Tony Pollard.
In a stunning move to some, the Cowboys also released Ezekiel Elliott, who was, at one time, one of the best running backs in the NFL.
After the Cowboys made these moves, Skip Bayless made sure that his opinion was heard.
“I praise Jerry Jones for two beautiful, low-cost moves that fill two gaping holes and fixed glaring problems,” said Bayless.
How much better did the Cowboys improve with the Stephon Gilmore, Brandin Cooks trades?

Bayless is known for his hot takes in the sporting community and is a known Cowboys fan as well.
His allegiance to the team is well-documented, both praising the organization and acknowledging its shortcomings as well.
Last season, the Cowboys made it to the divisional round of the playoffs, ultimately losing to the San Francisco 49ers.
With these acquisitions in mind, many believe that the Cowboys will be in a great spot moving forward, especially considering how inexpensive the deals were.
With plenty of free agency left, Jones could cook up a few more bargain deals, continuing to add to the Cowboys’ roster.
With the draft right around the corner, who else will join the Cowboys’ team?
The Cowboys haven’t been to the Super Bowl since 1995.
Will 2023 be the year that they are able to return?
