It looks like the Western Conference Finals will end up being something of a snore, with the Golden State Warriors currently holding a mammoth 3-0 lead over the Dallas Mavericks.
No team has ever come back from being down 3-0, which means that the Mavericks will most certainly lose this series and the Warriors will most certainly move onto the NBA Finals.
For a postseason full of many fireworks, the West’s competition is ending in a fairly subdued manner.
GRIZZLIES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MAVS. The real conference finals was last round. If Ja hadn't missed the last 3 games and if Dillon Brooks hadn't missed Game 3 …

Skip Bayless is not having any of it.
The analyst hopped on Twitter to claim that the Memphis Grizzlies – who fell to the Warriors in the last round – are far, far better than the Mavericks.
“The real conference finals was last round,” Bayless said.
“If Ja hadn’t missed the last 3 games and if Dillon Brooks hadn’t missed Game 3…”
Bayless is very fired up (again) but is he forgetting some important facts?
Memphis Vs Mavs
It’s true that many people expected the Grizzlies to make it further in the playoffs.
They had some bad luck: Morant was injured in Game 3 against the Warriors and Brooks was suspended for a game because of a severe foul he committed.
Things could have been very different if both of those guys played in all games.
However, they did play in Game 1 – at home – against the Warriors.
Yet, they still ended up losing that game in a nail-biter, 117-116.
Therefore, even if both guys stayed in the series for every game the Grizzlies could have lost.
The Mavericks are certainly playing some disappointing basketball but that’s what happens when you go against the Warriors.
This team has a way of making even the best teams look like shells of their usual selves.
