Just when everybody thinks that Shohei Ohtani can’t get any better, the opposite happens.
Once again, he impressed many around the game with another epic night.
But Tuesday night’s game was special.
He drew the start for the Los Angeles Angels against the Chicago White Sox and gave the Halos 6.1 innings, allowing just one run on four hits while walking only two batters and recording 10 strikeouts.
In addition, he went 3-for-3 at the plate with two home runs.

It’s no secret that Ohtani is one of the best players in all of baseball.
He is arguably the best player in the game today, and on Tuesday night he showed why, dominating on both sides of the ball.
Both of his home runs were solo shots.
Ohtani earned MVP honors in the American League in 2021 after he hit 46 home runs.
Last season, he finished second in the voting behind Aaron Judge.
This time around, he looks prepared to chase down yet another MVP award and add to his impressive resume before he hits the free agent market.
Ohtani is now 7-3 with a 3.02 ERA over 95.1 innings of work as a pitcher and has recorded 127 strikeouts.
As a hitter, he is already up to 28 home runs and has driven in 64.
Ohtani is also hitting .304 with an OPS of 1.040.
He continued his torrid pace on Tuesday night on the mound and at the plate, putting together a truly unforgettable game.
