After 13 games away from his team due to an injury, LeBron James returned to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night.
The game ultimately didn’t go his way and the Lakers were defeated by the Chicago Bulls.
James, who came off the bench for the first time in more than a decade, scored 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.
On Monday morning, NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe gave his two cents about James’ first game back.
“All in all, I thought he looked good,” Sharpe said on Undisputed.
But Sharpe noted that James showed a bit of rust and wasn’t playing like his regular self.
However, he said that “by Wednesday, you’ll see a different LeBron.”
“I can see him Wednesday probably getting 30 points because he’ll play more and play more aggressive,” Sharpe added.

Sharpe has nothing but confidence in James even though he is still not 100% up to speed right now.
He said that the more important thing to look at is the work of Anthony Davis.
Sharpe noted that if James gets healthier and Davis plays as he has in the past, the Lakers could make some noise in the West right as the playoffs approach.
On Sunday night, Davis scored 15 points and 9 rebounds.
That paled in comparison to what he did on Friday night: 37 points and 15 rebounds against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Now that James is back, all Lakers fans will be eager to see if he can perform even better and if Davis can reach All-Star numbers again.
If these two players come together in the next few weeks, they will have fans smiling as the regular season ends.
