The Jacksonville Jaguars are in the market for a head coach again.
However, they could also be looking for a new general manager soon.
In a clip shown by Dov Kleiman on X, team owner Shad Khan openly admitted that he would look to part ways with Trent Baalke if any potential head coaching candidate gave him compelling arguments.
That might make sense, and he has more than enough valid reasons to move on from Baalke.
Nevertheless, the fact that he was also a part of the same call made it a somewhat odd setting to share those comments.

At least no one can accuss Mr. Khan of not being straightforward or talking behind his back.
Baalke has swung and missed multiple times in the past, especially in the NFL Draft.
Most of his selections haven’t been very good, with a few exceptions.
More than that, it doesn’t seem like he’s aiming to build a specific kind of team; he’s just stacking up players and hoping they fit whatever the head coach wants to do.
As a result, it’s not much of a surprise to see the Jaguars struggling to keep up with the rest of the AFC.
It’s almost mind-boggling to see how most owners deal with their teams.
They don’t use the same approach for their business; otherwise, they would lack enough cash to buy a team.
That’s just how things are going with the Jaguars right now.
