The New York Giants have a problem with injuries.
It seems like every week, a key member of the team’s offensive line or defense somehow becomes injured, ruling them out of the upcoming week’s important game.
Last week, the Giants could have played their game against the Philadelphia Eagles without Saquon Barkley, who is without a doubt the key player on the weak Giants offense.
A few days before the game, Barkley was placed on the injury report, with a “sore neck”.
At the time, Giants head coach Brian Daboll could not confirm whether Saquon could play on Sunday.
It turned out that Barkley could, and did play on Sunday.
But, he made little impact, rushing for 28 yards from nine attempts, as the Giants were demolished by the Eagles.
That defeat means that this week’s game against the Washington Commanders becomes a must-win if the Giants are to make the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
For this game, they need all the offensive power they have to be as healthy and playing.
That means Barkley has to play this weekend.
Today, we got an update on Barkley and his neck.
Expecting Saquon Barkley (neck) to practice Wednesday, which is a good sign for the Giants heading into their Sunday night matchup with Washington.

Good News
It is believed that Barkley will practice today.
This means that the chances that he will play on Sunday night against the Commanders are high.
This is good news for the Giants, as Barkley will provide much-needed offensive power for the Daniel Jones-led offense that has few talented wide receivers.
The actual impact that Saquon will have on the game will only be seen on Sunday night, so fans are hoping that his impact will be positive.
