Imagine minding your own business in class, and then, all of a sudden, your favorite NFL player enters the room and pays you a visit.
That was the case with an adorable young kid in New Orleans, who couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw New Orleans Saints star Cam Jordan in attendance.
The young man, mouth agape, was staring in disbelief and looked completely starstruck when the prominent defensive end reached out to talk and inspire the next generation (via Bleacher Report).

Notably, this isn’t the first time that Jordan has been involved with the community, as he usually partakes in multiple events and is always looking forward to inspiring and giving back.
The veteran defensive end has been a pillar for the franchise on and off the gridiron.
They took him with the No. 24 pick in the 2011 NFL Draft out of the University of California, and it didn’t take long before he became a fan favorite for his skills and character.
He’s the franchise leader in sacks, and just signed a two-year contract extension this offseason to continue staying close to the community and anchoring Dennis Allen’s defense.
The Saints have had some mixed results through the first five games of the year, sitting on a 3-2 record.
They currently sit in the third spot in the NFC South, but they still have more than enough time to right the ship and regain the top place in the division, and they’ll look to do that when they face the Houston Texans on Sunday.
