The National Football League is more stacked with talent now than ever, so standing out from the rest of the pack is no easy task.
There are many variables that no one can control.
What you can control if how much work and dedication you put into your craft and leading by example, and that’s why Jalen Hurts has gotten so much praise as of late.
The Philadelphia Eagles standout has worked tirelessly since last offseason, and that hard work definitely paid off last season with MVP-caliber play, a trip to the Super Bowl, and the largest contract extension in NFL history.
That’s why NFL analyst Ryan Clark believes he’s entering Tom Brady and Drew Brees’ territory in terms of his leadership and work ethic, and that’s definitely some elite company to be compared to, via ESPN’s “Get Up” on Friday.
"I think we have to start comparing Jalen Hurts' work ethic to some of those maniacal workers that we'll see in the Hall of Fame soon. Guys like Drew Brees, guys like Tom Brady."

Hurts has put his head down and worked hard despite all the doubts and criticism around him.
He kept receipts and listened to all the noise, but that didn’t stop him from getting the work in and proving to his franchise and his teammates that he was willing to do whatever it took to be better and be a leader for his team.
This is nothing new for the former Oklahoma Sooner, a guy who had to transfer from Alabama after being benched on national television and had prove his worth again to get a spot in the league.
Now, it’ll be all about getting back to the ultimate stage and finishing the job to silence his critics once and for all.
