Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson will try to help end the Denver Broncos‘ postseason drought.
The team last entered the playoffs when they won Super Bowl 50 six years ago with Peyton Manning at the helm.
Since then, the Broncos have underperformed despite having immense talent on both sides of the ball.
This time, the team’s faithful hopes that Wilson is the missing piece that will help the Broncos offense reach its full potential.
Therefore, they are hoping that the Broncos will start on the right note, and they will be drawing the best possible opponent for their new starting play-caller.

The Broncos will face the Seattle Seahawks to kick off Monday Night Football.
It’s the perfect revenge game for Wilson after spending the first decade of his NFL career with the Seahawks.
He led the team to a Super Bowl victory and became one of the league’s top quarterbacks during his time in Washington.
Extra Motivation For Wilson
Wilson will play with an additional chip on his shoulder to prove his old team wrong.
Likewise, he would like to have a better performance than the Seahawks’ starter, be it Drew Lock or Geno Smith.
Despite a good run towards the end of the 2021 season, Seattle decided that it was time to part ways with Wilson.
That said, they traded him to the Broncos for five picks, Lock, Shelby Harris, and Noah Fant.
Wilson didn’t want to leave Seattle, especially if they could fortify the offensive line around him.
But head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider felt that it was time to go separate ways.
Therefore, Wilson will have an extra zip on the ball as he finds his receivers downfield against the Seahawks.
