While Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson joined only the Denver Broncos, he is making sure that he will be a visible part of the Mile High community.
Regarding his new team, he already had an introductory press conference and is expected to join offseason workouts.
But he also threw the opening pitch to Kris Bryant during the Colorado Rockies’ Opening Day.
He also attended a Denver Nuggets game with his wife Ciara and was welcomed by NBA Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic.
Why stop at baseball and basketball when there’s also hockey?
Wilson hasn’t attended a Colorado Avalanche game yet, but that’s undoubtedly in the works.
However, he showed his appreciation for his new hometown by congratulating the NCAA Men’s Hockey National champions.
Wow. Denver Sports 🔥🔥🔥

Wilson tweeted, “Wow. Denver Sports. Congratulations @DU_Hockey!!!”
The University of Denver Pioneers became nine-time National Champions after trashing Minnesota State in the final, 5-1.
Before that game, they edged Michigan in the Frozen Four, 3-2.
The Pioneers also defeated UMass Lowell and Minnesota Duluth en route to the title.
Aside from extending his greeting, Wilson’s tweet is also a precursor that the Broncos’ season will start in less than five months.
Given the NFL Draft, training camp, and preseason, it won’t be long before that day comes.
Wilson Is A Sports Fan
While football is where he built a career and earned a fortune, Wilson also played baseball at North Carolina State from 2008 to 2010.
He was also drafted out of high school by the Baltimore Orioles in the 2007 MLB Draft.
Wilson is also a part-owner of Major League Soccer’s Seattle Sounders.
But once football season starts, all eyes will be on him as he tries to bring home the Broncos’ fourth Super Bowl victory.
