With Atlanta Braves‘ star Ronald Acuna Jr. finally back and off of the injured list, it’s time to look back at what has been amazing career so far.
Acuna came up in 2018 and was a key part of the Braves’ turnaround from a last-place team to a perennial postseason contender.
He won the National League Rookie of the Year Award that year and has been an MVP-caliber player ever since.
In fact, he’s performing like a Major League Baseball legend.
Since 2010, Acuna has one of the highest OPS+ marks of any player in Major League Baseball through their age-23 season.

Welcome Back
If you haven’t noticed, Acuna is one heck of a ballplayer.
He can flat out hit.
He can play some solid defense and runs quite well too.
But for a guy to have one of the highest OPS+ of any player through their age-23 season in a period of time is amazing and impressive.
This is a guy that can do it all on the baseball field.
Oh, and he’s also got a World Series ring.
The baseball world sure missed him while he was out.
Even with some bad injury luck, he’s managed to put up some amazing numbers in such a short amount of time.
He is the centerpiece of the Braves and the future of the organization.
He’s had an amazing start to his career and doesn’t appear to be showing any signs of slowing down.
He’s just now 24 years old and has an extremely bright future ahead of him.
If the Braves keep on winning, he’s certain to be at the very center of it all.
