The coach of the New York Jets, Robert Saleh, is certainly one of the most upfront coaches in the.
Oftentimes, coaches can present “coach speak in press conferences, and tell reporters exactly what they want to hear.
Saleh isn’t like that.
He presents the facts and is brutally honest when he needs to be, which is exactly what happened last night after the Jets’ loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Robert Saleh was asked about the Jets' chances of making the playoffs:
"It's not about playoffs right now, it's not. We played 4 consecutive teams that are in the hunt for the playoffs and we battled, we battled 3 of them. I'm just really disappointed with this showing today" pic.twitter.com/voQM9mk3fN

Saleh was disappointed with his team’s performance last night, and we can’t exactly blame him.
The Jets’ offense garnered just 248 total yards in their loss to the Jaguars and scored just three points.
Last night marked the second game this season that the Jets only scored three points.
Saleh cannot be pleased with this performance, and in the short clip above, he makes his opinion on the team known.
While at one point the Jets looked like they were going to cruise into the playoffs, their play as of late would suggest otherwise.
If their current trajectory stays on pace, they will end the season with a 7-10 record and will miss the playoffs.
Saleh’s Job Security
With a team losing four straight games and coming off of a game in which they only scored three points, one might point to a team’s coach as the source of their problems.
However, it looks like the Jets organization will give Saleh another chance in the 2023 season.
Will he be able to right the Jets’ ship next year?
His future as the head coach of the Jets depends on it.
