The New York Jets have been on a rollercoaster ride throughout the 2022 NFL season.
While the team wasn’t seen as a playoff contender to start the season, they quickly put themselves into the playoff contention talks.
However, their recent losses have hurt their chances of reaching the playoffs.
Their 1-4 record over their last five games is pushing them out of the playoff picture.
But can they redeem themselves and still make the postseason this season?
Mike White Might Be The Player That Can Save The Jets Playoff Chances
No other player is getting the respect of the Jets locker room like quarterback Mike White.
With him as the quarterback, receivers for the team are craving for him to start in games.
His play over his three starts this season shows how he’s a big play quarterback.
"The playoffs for the Jets start this Sunday against the Lions at home. If you win, you'll get in. If you lose, you ain't gonna get in. But the opportunity to win is going to be because Mike White continues to play quarterback."

However, his rib injury during the Buffalo Bills game now puts the Jets’ playoff hopes in jeopardy.
Without him, the team doesn’t have the same opportunity to reach the playoffs.
While they have Zach Wilson, he isn’t giving anyone a reason to believe he can lead the Jets to the playoffs.
He has been very inconsistent during games.
His inaccuracy in the passing game stands out the most.
Despite having 317 passing yards against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, his completion percentage was 51.4%.
With him having a season completion percentage of 55.6% he’s not the answer for the Jets.
So it means the Jets’ playoff hopes are on the arm of Mike White.
However, if he misses more games, the Jets will miss the playoffs once again.
