The Washington Commanders live for another day.
Dan Quinn’s team didn’t look good in the second half of their win vs. the New Orleans Saints.
Even so, Robert Griffin III still has plenty of faith in them.
Talking to Kay Adams on her “Up & Adams” show, the former star quarterback claimed that the Commanders could make a deep postseason run if they were to get in.
How HIGH is the ceiling for this Commanders squad??? @rgiii isn't leaving anything off the table with Jayden Daniels at QB ??️

Of course, his words must be taken with a grain of salt, as he’s biased because of his past with the organization.
Then again, he might be right, at least on paper.
The Commanders were one of the most pleasant surprises in the first half of the season, and they looked like the kind of team that could hold their own against the best in the game.
Then, Jayden Daniels and their explosive offense hit a bit of a wall.
Notably, that has been a usual trend with Kliff Kingsbury dating back to his days in college.
He tends to get off to strong starts and then fails to make adjustments, so other teams start figuring them out.
The Commanders have a bright future ahead of them, and they should be a perennial playoff-caliber team for as long as Jayden Daniels is out there and healthy.
Whether they’ll go far in the playoffs this season remains to be seen, but they already have RGIII’s stamp of approval.
