The Washington Commanders have had an outstanding season so far.
In the first year of the Dan Quinn era, with plenty of other new faces, they are 7-2 and atop the NFC East.
Former Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III said he believes the team is going to win a bunch of postseason awards.
“They might as well rename the Rookie of the Week award the Jayden Daniels Award of the Week. … He has the Commanders poised to sweep a bunch of the NFL awards. Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, Executive of the Year,” Griffin wrote on X.

Not only is Daniels in the running to win Rookie of the Year, but the quarterback also might be in the running for NFL MVP.
So far, the No. 2 overall pick from the 2024 NFL Draft is completing 71.5 percent of his passes with 13 total touchdowns and a passer rating of 106.7.
He and Quinn have taken this Commanders team to heights not seen in years.
If the Commanders hit double-digit wins and reach the playoffs, look for Quinn to be in the running for Coach of the Year.
General manager Adam Peters is the one who hired Quinn, along with offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury, and drafted Daniels.
He also just traded for Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore and has brought in several other impactful pieces.
He could be on everyone’s radar for Executive of the Year if the team continues to play well.
