Travis Kelce has just eight receptions for 69 yards on the season.
The nine-time Pro-Bowler also didn’t eclipse 1,000 yards receiving last year for the first time since 2015.
Another former all-time great tight end in Rob Gronkowski recently joined Up & Adams to talk about Kelce’s early-season struggles and why he isn’t worried about No. 87.
“It doesn’t matter that he’s not making plays right now. (The Chiefs) are 3-0. That’s all that matters,” Gronkowski said Wednesday.

Gronkowski is right.
The only thing that matters at the end of the day in the NFL is wins and losses.
However, the Kansas City Chiefs have won each of their three games on either the final play or in the final minute of the game.
That means that each game has been very close and Kelce not being able to produce might play a role in that.
Now, is it the Taylor Swift fever, Kelce’s age, or defenses just simply improving their strategies when it comes to shutting him down?
It could be all of those wrapped up into one, but another thing to consider is that the NFL season is only three weeks in.
The league hasn’t even hit the month of October yet.
If Kelce’s production is still a problem in late November and early December, then there might be a problem for head coach Andy Reid and Co.
For now, as Gronkowski stated, all that matters is that the back-to-back Super Bowl champions are undefeated and in a really good spot heading into Week Four.
