The Kansas City Chiefs are sitting at 3-0 and are currently on a quest for their third consecutive Super Bowl ring.
Now, when you are the best team, you tend to get a couple of 50/50 calls from the officials that go your way.
Future Hall of Fame tight end Rob Gronkowski, who was a part of arguably the greatest dynasty in the history of the NFL, recently joined Up & Adams to chat about how the Chiefs are getting a lot more calls from the referees than the Patriots did during their great run.
“I was basically executed off the line of scrimmage half the time…the Chiefs get away more calls than the Patriots,” Gronkowski said Wednesday.

Again, it is natural for great teams to get a couple of favorable calls from the officials.
Why that is remains to be seen, but the reason this topic is being brought up is because of what happened during the Chiefs’ 22-17 road win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night.
In the final minute of the game, the Falcons had a chance to score a game-winning touchdown.
Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts was targeted in the end zone by quarterback Kirk Cousins, but Pitts was seemingly contacted by a defender whose head was not turned around before the ball arrived.
If the referees had thrown a flag there, the Falcons would have gotten the ball near the goaline with a fresh set of downs.
Instead, there was no penalty for pass interference and Kansas City ended up getting the win.
