The New York Knicks saw their season end over the weekend after the Miami Heat finished them off in six games to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals to face the Boston Celtics.
Although the Knicks got a brilliant performance out of Jalen Brunson, who scored 41 points in what turned out to be the last game of the season for New York, the same can’t be said for Julius Randle, who struggled once again and left a bad taste in the mouth of Knicks fans.
In the aftermath of the Knicks’ season coming to an end, a video surfaced of Knicks fans ripping down a poster of Randle and stomping on it, which isn’t the classiest move for a fan base, especially for a player that was named to an All-NBA team.
On The Rich Eisen Show, Rich Eisen blasted these Knicks fans for their actions, saying they should be embarrassed for what they did.
“You people should be embarrassed!”@richeisen didn’t think too kindly of so-called #Knicks fans who trashed a Julius Randle poster after New York was eliminated by the Heat over the weekend:#NBA #NBAPlayoffs #NBATwitter pic.twitter.com/NodYkbIISc

With an avid and passionate fanbase like the Knicks have and have had for many years, there will always be some bad eggs that make the fanbase look bad.
The same goes for Los Angeles Lakers fans, who riot after they win championships in the City of Angels, which makes zero sense yet happens every time the storied NBA franchise wins it all.
It is no surprise that Knicks fans would do something like this, but to be fair, Randle didn’t do much to help his case, as his body language and effort were put into question as well as his performance on the floor.
It’ll be interesting to see if Randle is involved in any trade scenarios over the summer due to his poor performance in the playoffs and the team wanting to put the best talent around Brunson moving forward.
