The Cincinnati Reds are calling up top pitching prospect Andrew Abbott from Triple-A Louisville.
Abbott is the No. 6 prospect within the Reds organization, according to MLB Pipeline.
The left-hander is set to make his Major League debut on Monday night against the Milwaukee Brewers, who lead the National League Central.
He will start against Julio Teheran.
At Triple-A, the young left-hander was 3-0 in seven starts with a 3.05 ERA.
On Twitter, the Reds posted a cool graphic to celebrate Abbott’s arrival in the Major Leagues, welcoming their young left-hander and newest addition to the team prior to his first career start.

The 24-year-old will now join a young Reds rotation with a lot of promise.
The rotation already features stars such as Hunter Greene, Brandon Williamson, Graham Ashcraft, Ben Lively, and Nick Lodolo.
Abbott is the latest addition to the Reds as they to build for the future.
Cincinnati currently sits in fourth place in the NL Central, six games behind the Brewers.
With Abbott on the mound, they’ll look to gain some ground.
Abbott is highly touted and is set to take the mound against the Brewers.
The youth movement is on in Cincinnati as the Reds continue to look towards the future and assess their young talent.
Abbott could potentially be another valuable piece for the future and somebody the Reds can build around when they return to contention for the first time since 2021.
In addition to being the Reds’ No. 6 prospect, Abbott is ranked as the No. 95 prospect in all of baseball.
