Sometimes, even in the midst of an important event such as a baseball game, those involved in it experience some funny moments.
Such was the case on Saturday when the Boston Red Sox took on the Tampa Bay Rays.
During an at-bat by Rays outfielder Jose Siri, Red Sox radio announcer Joe Castiglione announced his name.
However, he had accidentally triggered Siri on his iPhone, and sure enough, Siri spoke, attempting to make sense of what he had said.
This prompted a barrel of laughs within the Red Sox radio booth as Castiglione realized that he had activated Siri on his phone when he announced the Rays outfielder’s name.

Castiglione and the Red Sox radio announcers shared a good laugh over the moment.
He then spoke to Siri on his iPhone and jokingly stated that he was not asking her to record what he had said, but rather was speaking about the Rays outfielder.
Either way, it was a nice, lighthearted moment within the Red Sox radio booth.
Castiglione, like many people with iPhones, has now experienced this type of moment.
Often times, Siri will attempt to make sense of what is being said by the user of the iPhone.
Somehow, some way, Siri is triggered and attempts to speak.
It came at the most inopportune time for Castiglione, as it often does for iPhone users.
Fortunately, it didn’t derail the game, but it did make for a hilarious moment, one that the Red Sox announcers enjoyed thoroughly on Saturday.
