The Baltimore Ravens took on the Cincinnati Bengals in a “Thursday Night Football” matchup that could have an effect on how the race for the AFC North ends up.
The Ravens are looking to overtake the Pittsburgh Steelers for first place in the division, while the Bengals seem to have overcome their 0-3 start by winning four of their previous six contests.
In the prime-time game, Baltimore debuted uniforms that feature purple as a primary color with jersey numbers in gold, via Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Previously, the Ravens’ purple home uniforms had jersey numbers in white, but it seems many like this new version.
Baltimore has issues defensively, but offensively is one of the NFL’s best teams, and they came into the game ranked second in points and first in total yards and yards per rushing attempt.
Newcomer Derrick Henry, the star running back who has made the Pro Bowl four times and ran for more than 2,000 yards in 2020, is on track to have another truly special season.
He came into the game against the Bengals with 1,052 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns while leading the league in both categories, and he posted more than 150 rushing yards three times.
Quarterback Lamar Jackson, last season’s MVP, is playing even better this year with 2,379 passing yards and 20 passing touchdowns while completing 68.2 percent of his pass attempts through nine games.
Baltimore just may have the goods this time around to end the Kansas City Chiefs’ reign of AFC dominance and have a shot at winning a third Super Bowl championship.
