After winning six out of their past seven games, the Baltimore Ravens head into a potentially tough matchup on “Thursday Night Football” against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium.
Although the Ravens are favored by almost a touchdown, these AFC North matchups are always tough, which was never more apparent than a couple of weeks ago when the lowly Cleveland Browns pulled off the upset against John Harbaugh’s squad.
The Bengals are a desperate team and need every win they can get moving forward in order to reach the playoffs. Cincinnati comes into this game with a record of 4-5, which is obviously not ideal for a team that was expected to be a Super Bowl contender in the AFC.
With this being an important game on the prime time stage, one Ravens wide receiver has decided to wear special cleats for the occasion.
“Ravens WR Rashod Bateman has ‘Purple Lobster’ SB Dunk cleats for tonight’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ game,” Dov Kleiman wrote on X.

In nine games this season, Bateman has caught 25 passes for 447 receiving yards and three touchdowns, which has him on track for a career year, as he’s already surpassed his career-high for touchdown catches.
With the Ravens offense firing on all cylinders, the Bengals are in for a potentially long night against their division rivals, as Cincinnati’s defense will likely struggle to contain Lamar Jackson and company.
