Legendary Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker had his worst year from a statistical point of view.
He missed eight field goals and multiple extra points.
However, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta believes Tucker will be kicking balls for the organization next season and beyond.
“I think Justin’s gonna go down as, in my opinion, if not the best kicker of all time one of the best. I think he finished the season strong…I think I have every expectation that Justin’s gonna be a great kicker for us next year and moving forward,” DeCosta said while talking with the Baltimore media on Thursday.

Tucker has a potential out in his current contract after this season, but it seems like DeCosta wants the former Super Bowl champion to be back next season and beyond.
The 35-year-old holds the NFL record for highest field-goal percentage in NFL history at 89.1%.
However, he was just 11 for 19 on field goals that were beyond 40 yards this season, which is very unusual.
The future Hall of Fame player has always done his job well and has been extremely consistent, regardless of where he is kicking on the field.
Still, DeCosta was encouraged by what he saw from his All-Pro kicker towards the end of the season and will likely keep him on the team in the future.
It is very hard to find good kickers in today’s NFL, but it is even harder to find one who can arguably replace the best kicker in the game’s history.
