The Los Angeles Rams made moves all of 2021 to turn their team into the Super Bowl champions.
They have continued to make moves during 2022, keeping their team in contention for this season.
Sean McVay has some of the best players in the NFL on his roster, giving the defending Super Bowl champions an edge.
The reason the Rams have this team is due to trade deals and free agency signings.
They continue to improve their team with established veterans in the NFL.
Trading for Matthew Stafford and Von Miller in 2021 shifted them into Super Bowl champions.
The signing of free agent Odell Beckham Jr. also helped the team out with that accomplishment.
The Rams are taking the same approach this year as well.
Rams Sign Free Agents Allen Robinson And Bobby Wagner For 2022
While the team lost Miller and Beckham in free agency, they picked up Allen Robinson and Bobby Wagner.
Wagner comes from Seattle, where he was part of the Legion of Boom during his time there.
True, but our organization treats its stars better than that. Especially the HOFers .. for Seattle to treat Wagner like he wasn’t a big part of that Leigon of Boom that brought that lone championship to Seattle is beyond crazy and disrespectful. https://t.co/QovnTFu9bm

In ten seasons with Seattle, he had 1,383 combined tackles, 23.5 sacks, and 11 interceptions.
Interceptions from a linebacker are usually rare, but Wagner proved to be someone that could cover and tackle.
He makes an excellent replacement for the departing Miller.
Robinson comes from Chicago, where he was the top receiver there for four years.
Allen Robinson is a Top 5 receiver in this league. Extend him now, Bears.

With the Rams yet to re-sign Beckham, it’s safe to say Robinson will replace him at receiver.
The signing isn’t great because of the down season he had in 2021 where he dealt with an injury.
But a healthy Robinson can be dangerous when matched up with Stafford.
The Original Trade That Got LA Their Super Bowl Win Under McVay
Most people talk about the Stafford trade being the one that gave the Rams a Super Bowl win.
However, there was one trade before that to set all of this in motion.
That trade came in 2016 when the Rams took their 15th pick overall and traded up for the first pick in the NFL Draft.
#Titans trade No.1 pick to #Rams for 15th overall, two 2nds (43 & 45), a 3rd (76), a 1st & 3rd in 2017. Rams also get 4th (113) & 6th (177).

The player that Los Angeles would select with the draft pick was none other than Jared Goff.
Goff helped the Rams reach the Super Bowl in 2018-19 NFL season but fell short to the New England Patriots.
The trade worked out twice for the Rams.
The short-term got them a Super Bowl appearance, with a long-term outcome of them getting Stafford and a Super Bowl trophy.
While people originally said the Titans won the trade in 2016, the reality is the Rams got two Super Bowl appearances and one title.
No matter how you cut it, the Rams come out on top even in crazy trades.
They have a group of good receivers and their quarterback for the present.
The defense is stellar with Aaron Donald and Wager on the field.
McVay has proven that he can help lead the team to championship games.
With the Rams settled into Los Angeles now, they are set for many years to come.
