It’s still quite early in the NFL offseason, but some teams want to get a jump start on the upcoming campaign.
Notably, that’s the case with the Las Vegas Raiders.
As pointed out by Aaron Wilson on X, the team just signed veteran wide receiver Kyle Phillips.

Phillips joined the team after spending the previous campaign on the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad, although he didn’t get an opportunity to start or play for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
He was a fifth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans (No. 163) back in the 2022 NFL Draft.
He spent his first two seasons in the league in Music City, logging 23 catches for 259 receiving yards (11.3 yards per reception),
Phillips was a standout for the UCLA Bruins.
He spent four years on campus, totaling 163 catches for 1,821 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.
He also recorded 26 punt returns for 501 return yards (19.3 yards) and two scores.
The Raiders will likely be one of the most aggressive teams in the offseason.
Now, with Pete Carroll taking the reins of the team, they will look to get back to contention for the first time in years.
Tom Brady will reportedly have a big input in whatever they do in free agency and their next quarterback, something that will most likely define the present and future of the organization.
Most insiders believe they will lead the race to get Sam Darnold after his breakout year with the Minnesota Vikings.
In the meantime, they will look to get more weapons for whoever they get behind center.
