In addition to looking for a new head coach, the Las Vegas Raiders are also looking for a new GM.
After firing former head coach Antonio Pierce earlier this week, the team just made the decision to fire GM Tom Telesco (per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero).
Owner Mark Davis and Co. are moving on from the former Chargers GM after just one season.

The Raiders have a long way to go, regardless of who they hire as head coach and GM.
This organization has struggled to find its way over the last two decades.
In the last 22 seasons, the Raiders have made the playoffs twice, and in that same span, they have had just two winning seasons.
This fan base is starving for a winner, so the decisions that owner Mark Davis will make for head coach and GM are paramount moving forward.
What is certain is that there are plenty of big coaching names out there, such as Mike Vrabel, Pete Carroll, Ben Johnson, Kliff Kingsbury, Aaron Glenn, and many others.
If the appropriate individuals are hired for both head coach and GM positions, then the process of turning the roster around can begin.
This is one of the league’s worst teams, as it is coming off three consecutive losing seasons.
Las Vegas cannot get much worse as an organization, which is why Mark Davis has his work cut out for him now more than ever.
