The end of May through the end of June and the beginning of July can be a slow time for NFL fans.
This is a time during the sports season when fans are awaiting both college football and NFL games.
During Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Peyton Manning appeared on Stephen A’s World, offering some insight into the upcoming NFL season.
Regarding Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets, Manning said, “I saw him recently at the Kentucky Derby, I can tell he feels rejuvenated.”
Peyton Manning tells Stephen A. Smith, "I like Aaron Rodgers to the Jets… He's excited… I like the fact that he knows the system… He's going to be able to play fast… I saw him recently at the Kentucky Derby; I can tell he feels rejuvenated. I like the Jets this year." 🏈 pic.twitter.com/cNWBorCYAk

In a few separate instances, Manning referenced his thoughts on the team this season, saying, “I like the Jets this year.”
It appears that Rodgers might have his work cut out for him this season, given the amount of pressure that’s been put on him to succeed.
The Jets have not made the playoffs in 12 seasons, the longest active streak in the NFL.
While the road to a Super Bowl appearance is especially difficult in the AFC, Manning and other analysts have faith in Rodgers to get the job done.
The Jets’ current defense is one of the best that Rodgers has played with in quite some time, which will certainly help the cause.
Rodgers will also have several young, talented players at his disposal on offense, making for a better opportunity to have instant success.
For several years, the Jets have found themselves near the bottom of the league.
Can Rodgers pull this team from their consistent mediocrity?
