The Los Angeles Clippers were defeated at home by a short-handed Atlanta Hawks team on Sunday night.
For some fans, it was a wake-up call and for others, it was just the latest bad news coming from the team.
The Clippers have now lost four of their last five games and Paul George spoke about that and the problems bothering his team.
“We want to be a team that’s consistent and we want to establish an identity,” George said, via Tomer Azarly and ClutchPoints.
He continued: “Right now, I don’t think we have an identity.”

That’s quite a change because, up until a few weeks ago, the Clippers had a strong identity.
They were climbing higher in the Western Conference standings and looked like one of the best teams in the league.
The Clippers were pulling off multiple wins in a row, playing consistently, and every individual player was adding to the mix.
They were finally delivering on promises they had been making for years.
Lately, they have been suffering more defeats, including recent ones to the Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Hawks.
They are currently the fourth team in the West with a 42-25 record, just barely ahead of the fifth-place Pelicans.
The Hawks were without Trae Young on Sunday but they still pushed past the Clippers.
George scored 29 points and Kawhi Leonard put up 26 but they were the only two Clippers players in double digits.
Even though they were playing at home, they didn’t look like the team that fans recently fell in love with.
George said the team is trying to find its identity and that may be true.
However, they will need to find it soon because the postseason is rapidly approaching.
