The Kansas City Chiefs keep rolling.
Patrick Mahomes and company got past the Houston Texans, and they’re now just one win – or one Buffalo Bills loss – away from clinching a first-round bye in the playoffs.
With that in mind, their star quarterback took to social media to thank god after the win.
“Thank you God,” Mahomes said.
Thank you God!

The fans have talked exhaustively about the Chiefs and their luck.
But they deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve been able to do this season.
The Chiefs continue to find ways to win football games, even when it’s not pretty, and that’s what sets them apart from other teams.
It’s easy to win when everything goes your way, but it takes a lot of character and mental strength to overcome adversities and get the job done when you’re not playing well.
It’s not easy to win in this league, much less for a long time, and the Chiefs are on the verge of making history.
They want to become the first team to win three Super Bowls in a row, and while opposing fan bases don’t want to hear anything about that, we could be witnessing history right now.
Of course, they still have to play the most crucial stretch of the season, but they have now strung two solid offensive outings together, and that’s terrible news for everybody else in the league.
