Everyone is talking about the latest drama between James Harden and Daryl Morey of the Philadelphia 76ers.
That includes NBA players.
Patrick Beverley was on Twitter responding to peoples’ thoughts on the situation.
Dave Portnoy claimed that the Sixers’ season is already over because of Harden’s comments but Beverley said no one should give up on the team just yet.
“Naw chill,” Beverley said, before adding: “Philly thrives in Adversity.”

Beverley is obviously close to those in this situation and he also knows what it’s like to be part of a team that is working through conflict.
But is he right to predict that the team could still thrive during this adversity?
That all depends.
It’s clear that Harden is no longer going to be part of this team.
Even if he remains on the roster for the next few months, it would be shocking to see him suit up and play unless he has a huge change of heart or he and Morey bury the hatchet.
But the rest of the team could still find a way to fight hard.
Perhaps they’d be even more driven because people like Portnoy and others have counted them out.
It is very true that sometimes a big challenge can inspire a group to try even harder.
But Harden had become a very important part of the team’s lineup during his short time with the Sixers.
He was second-in-command behind Joel Embiid and now he will be out of the rotation.
How can the team fill the void that he leaves?
They already struggled to get far in the postseason with Harden playing.
So, can they really thrive without him?
