For years, critics and certain NBA fans have said that James Harden has a tendency to quit on teams that he doesn’t like playing for, essentially giving up when things don’t go his way.
The latest drama surrounding him will only make them say that more.
Harden is demanding a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers and started a brand new war of words on Monday when he called the team’s president of basketball operations, Daryl Morey, a “liar.”
The response to Harden’s outburst was swift and intense.
Skip Bayless says that it confirms a pattern with the star player.
On Twitter, Bayless wrote: “James Harden quit his way out of Houston … Brooklyn … Philly???”

Bayless isn’t the only one to note this trend.
It is very true that Harden’s tenures with teams often end in a nasty battle.
He was the star player for the Houston Rockets for years but when he decided it was time to go, he wouldn’t take no for an answer.
He played hardball in order to be traded.
Sure enough, he was sent to the Brooklyn Nets, where he was set to play alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
When that lineup failed to find the success that many expected, Harden said it was time to go and pushed his way over to the Sixers.
Now Harden is once again wanting to move on and things have gotten ugly.
There is no doubt that Harden is well aware of the impact this has on his reputation and legacy.
Yet, he still believes it is worth it and won’t back down.
He apparently doesn’t mind the comments or backlash he’ll receive as long as he ends up leaving Philadelphia.
