The Denver Broncos have themselves a defender who wants to play some snaps on offense.
According to insider Zac Stevens, All-Pro cornerback Pat Surtain II is open to playing snaps at wide receiver.
Surtain believes he could be a dynamic player out there.
“Put me at receiver. Let me make a couple plays here and there. I could do it. Whatever route you need me to, whatever you need me to do, I’m there…Me at receiver is very dynamic,” Surtain said recently via Denver Westword.

The former Alabama star might have seen some Travis Hunter highlights out there in Colorado and perhaps now believes he could impact the game in a similar way.
The two-time All-Pro and three-time Pro-Bowler is building a great career out at Mile High and wants to continue to build on that as a two-way player.
Head coach Sean Payton might prefer to keep his top defender on one side of the field, allowing him to concentrate on his strength: shutting down opposing wide receivers.
Surtain has recorded over 10 pass deflections in each of his first four NFL seasons and has a total of 11 interceptions.
Opposing quarterbacks should make it a habit to try throwing the ball elsewhere if they want to maintain possession of it.
Time will tell if Surtain and the Broncos are serious about having the star corner play both ways, but no one should be blamed if the team ultimately decides against it.
