An era came to an end recently for the Green Bay Packers when they traded future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.
Now they will hand the reigns over to Jordan Love, who has been patiently waiting on the sideline over the last three seasons.
Wide receiver Romeo Doubs made an interesting statement when he said that he thinks Love “can do the exact same thing” as Rodgers.

Expecting Love to end up on the same level as Rodgers is unfair to the 24-year-old.
He has played in just 10 games in his three seasons in the NFL, and it is simply unknown how good he will turn out to be at this point.
In three seasons at Utah State University, Love did fairly well, posting 8,600 passing yards and 60 touchdowns, and Green Bay saw enough potential in him to take him with the No. 26 pick in the 2020 draft.
Unfortunately, Love won’t have a lot of weapons at his disposal.
In addition to losing Rodgers, the Packers also saw wide receivers Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb join Rodgers in New York, and therefore they could be even more anemic offensively in 2023 than they were last season.
They will likely have to lean more on their solid running back duo of AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones in order to be competitive.
There is a distinct possibility the Packers will finish last in the NFC North in 2023, but that could yield a high draft pick, and they could receive another first-rounder from the Jets if Rodgers plays in at least 65 percent of his new team’s snaps.
