The Houston Rockets were one of the worst teams in the NBA last season.
However, after a few moves this past summer, the Rockets have drastically improved in the 2023-24 NBA season.
A perfect example of it was the Rockets’ most recent win against Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray’s Denver Nuggets.
Speaking of the game, fans loved watching a clip where Dillon Brooks was spotted doing an intense staredown.
While the staredown was intended to instill fear in the Nuggets, it ended up being a hilarious moment for Jamal Murray, as revealed via ClutchPoints on Twitter.

Brooks tried his best to maintain a serious face during the intense moment.
But Murray, on the other hand, was amused by the Rockets forward’s epic effort of scaring the Nuggets before the game began.
At the end of the day, Dillon Brook’s staredown had done it’s job.
After an intense game, it was Brooks and the Rockets that emerged victorious.
The final score was 114-106.
As for Brooks, he had 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in 33 minutes of playing time against the Nuggets.
Following the win, the Rockets have now improved their record to 10-9 as they climbed to the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
Considering the Rockets have had stretches of playing extremely well during the 2023-24 NBA season, it won’t be a surprise if they sneak into the postseason when it’s all said and done.
If they indeed end up making the playoffs, it will be the first time since the 2019-20 NBA season that the Rockets will compete in the postseason.
