All NBA fans can agree that Nikola Jokic is one of the greatest basketball players alive.
Even though his Denver Nuggets are experiencing some troubles at the start of the season, Jokic is still sensational during every game.
In fact, he is leading the entire league in a very special way.
According to Evan Sidery, Jokic leads the NBA in points generated per game including points scored and assist points created.
Jokic is above everyone with 56, while Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks is behind him with 53.
Then it’s James Harden with 52.7 and LaMelo Ball with 51.4.
This stat proves that Jokic is incredibly impactful for his team but they will need more than just him to reach the Finals again.

Jokic is putting up 31.5 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game so far this season.
He is off to another terrific start but the same can’t be said for the Nuggets.
They have a 2-2 record and have faced some unexpected challenges.
For example, they struggled to put the Brooklyn Nets away on Tuesday night and only secured their 144-129 victory in overtime.
They have now had several games where they have fought harder than expected.
Nuggets fans didn’t anticipate seeing the team have such a difficult time earning wins.
With that being said, the season has just started and there is still a lot of time for things to get better for the Nuggets.
They can get back on track, especially if Jokic keeps playing like this.
He will continue to thrive but will need the rest of the roster to step up and be on his level too.
Otherwise, the struggles for Denver will likely continue.
