The Denver Nuggets are 2-2 after four games.
That’s not where they hoped they’d be at this point in the young season.
Record aside, Mike Malone’s team has struggled mightily on both ends of the floor.
They lost two games against potential playoff teams, and they’ve needed to go to overtime against two seemingly lesser squads like the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.
Even so, Nikola Jokic has been a man on a mission so far.
That’s evident in the latest post shared by StatMuse on X.
Jokic has scored 29, 40, 41, and 16 points to go along with 18, 10, 9, and 12 rebounds, respectively, also adding 16, 4, 4, and 13 assists.

The former MVP has two triple-doubles in four games, and he’s been utterly dominant, even on defense.
The Nuggets, however, clearly miss Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, perhaps even more than they missed Bruce Brown before him.
Russell Westbrook has struggled mightily with his shot, although he finally bounced back in the win over the Nets.
Jamal Murray, on the other hand, hasn’t looked like the same player of old this season.
He’s struggled with health and inefficiency since the end of last season, barely being able to contribute in the Olympics.
Perhaps he’s not fully healthy and could benefit from some time on the sidelines to get back to full strength.
Whatever the case, as stellar as Jokic has been, the Nuggets need to make some adjustments before it’s too late.
Jokic is still in his prime, and they need to make the most of it while they still can.
