The Denver Nuggets continued their terrific 2022-23 season on Wednesday night, beating the Houston Rockets with ease, power, and pizzazz, 120-100.
This was yet another great showing from the Nuggets and its robust list of terrific players.
The team is deeper than usual, with multiple athletes finally back after extended injuries and absences.
But it is Nikola Jokic who continues to shine brighter and play better than anyone else on the team – and possibly anyone in the league.

Jokic showed off his incredible passing skills on Wednesday, doing things that a man of his size just typically doesn’t.
After being passed the ball following a rebound, Jokic made his way to the basket.
You’d think Jokic would attempt a lay-up or dunk but he instead nailed a blind behind-the-back pass to Bruce Brown, who followed through with a mesmerizing dunk.
Credit must be given to Brown for his rim-shaker but watching Jokic pass as he did was magical.
He is again playing some of the best basketball in the entire NBA and is changing the way people think about centers.
Jokic Not Joking
Jokic is 6-foot-11 and is built like a traditional big man, with the ability to dunk, defend, and make serious trouble in the paint.
He does all of that excellently, but the thing that sets Jokic apart from others is his ability to play like a center and a guard.
His passing game is second-to-none and his connect to Brown shows that.
He is averaging 8.9 assists a game right now and many of his passes are as smooth and jaw-dropping as the behind-the-back one he made on Wednesday.
Jokic likely won’t win another MVP trophy this season because he has gotten it twice in a row over the last two years.
But if he did pull off that feat, few people would argue against it.
