Throughout his career, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has played for multiple teams, including the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers (where he won a championship), the Washington Wizards, and now the Denver Nuggets.
He might not be a household name but he’s a proven and hard-working player who is respected by almost everyone he’s worked with.
Right now, he’s claimed a very special milestone in the league.

Caldwell-Pope is leading the NBA with his 53.3% three-point percentage.
He has become an important part of his Nuggets and has become very reliable with his shot from downtown.
Getting Better And Better
KCP’s three-point performance has always been one of the things that teams love about him but he’s gotten much better over the last few years.
Last season, he was nailing 43.5% of his threes and his three-point stat has never dropped below 39%.
Right now, he’s sinking 2.5 of his 4.6 three attempts a night.
The player closest to him in terms of three is Kevin Huerter of the Sacramento Kings (52.6%), and then Yuta Watanabe of the Brooklyn Nets (51.7%).
Meanwhile, the Nuggets are having a pretty special season.
They are third in the West with a record of 9-5.
They were taken down by the New York Knicks on Wednesday, losing without their biggest star, Nikola Jokic.
Jamal Murray has shown signs of greatness but is still getting used to playing in the league again.
That is leading some to believe that the team will only get better as the season goes on.
As for Caldwell-Pope, he obviously understands and respects his role within the team and is focused on continuing to deliver what he does best.
You can expect to see many more three-point attempts from KCP in the weeks ahead.
